Haridarma Manoppo Conquered the Touring Car Championship in 1st Series of ISSOM 2017

Haridarma Manoppo, Toyota Team Indonesia (TTI) rider chalked up a brilliant achievement in the first series of 1,600 cc Max. class of Indonesian Touring Car Championship (ITCC) Indonesia Sentul Series of Motorsport (ISSOM) at Sentul International Circuit, Bogor, Sunday (26/3).
When the race had just passed 2 laps out of total 12 laps, heavy rain flushed Sentul circuit. Haridarma was fortunately able to take the lead position from his toughest rival Alvin Bahar. Haridarma revealed that he enjoyed the race, especially because the weather was still dry when the race started. But then the heavy rain disrupted his concentration. Luckily he was able to maintain the leading position until finish.
In this 2017 year, PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) spread the force in two motorsport category in Indonesia, Touring Car and Slalom. This is an affirmation of the commitment of TAM in the competition since the release of Toyota Team Indonesia 28 years ago, in 1989 to be exact.
"Under the spirit of Let's Go Beyond, TTI's performance in 2017 is expected to be better, not only in every championship, but also in inspiring young people to develop themselves in the potential of national motorsport," said Toyota General Manager PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) of Fransiscus Soerjopranoto.
