Alinka Hardianti Accomplished A New Achievement at Toyota Gazoo Racing 2016
TRD managed to take part in One Make Race competition at Toyota Gazoo Racing Netz Cup Vitz Race 2016
TRD managed to take part in "One Make Race" competition at Toyota Gazoo Racing Netz Cup Vitz Race 2016, at Fuji Speedway Circuit, Japan, Sunday (27/11). Alinka Hardianti, as a women racer of TTI-TRD team incised record time lap in 2 minutes 27 seconds and managed to finish at 24th position. Ride up 12 ranks from initially starting at 36th position.
Toyota Gazoo Racing is a worldwide motorsport event hosted by Toyota. It has various competitions, from racing circuit up to rally stages.
Prior to qualifying and pre-qualification, Alinka competed with 60 participants from various countries, TTI-TRD managed to get a record time of 2 minutes 18 seconds and entered in the Grand Final, competing with a total of 45 racers.
Thus, the TTI-TRD team paved the way for other young Indonesian drivers to compete in the same event in the future. By successfully penetrating the Grand Final round, the TTI-TRD team is entitled to participate in this event in the following years.
In different occasion, Henry Tanoto, Vice President Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor expressed his pride on the achievement of TTI-TRD team at Toyota Gazoo Racing Netz Cup Vitz Race."This proud achievement is a blend of Toyota product performance that is always reliable, with a very potential young talent. Joining an international event like this would be a good place to practice, sharpen and improve the ability of Alinka on the racing track, considering how competitive the racers from various countries in this event. And Fuji Speedway track is fairly new for Alinka, "he said through a written broadcast on Monday (28/11/2016).
